Good day!
I would like to inquire about the status of my package sent from Canada last December 2014. Until now I haven’t received the package.
It is a “Small Packet” and the receipt shown by the sender states that ‘tacking number’ is not available for this type of delivery. It was sent via Canada Postal.
I can believe that there is no tracking number since I have ordered a product from the US sent via US Postal – Small Packet and there was no tracking number – but I was able to receive the product as scheduled.
But for the case of the small packet sent from Canada, I still haven’t received it. I already went to our Post Office here in Cagayan de Oro City several times but the ones in-charge said the package did not arrive yet. SEVEN MONTHS have passed and I still didn’t receive it.
I hope you can provide me with the status of the package.

When I order my eye drops from the USA, I can trace it. Why a small 200 gram item, mailed as International Priority, takes 14 hours from San Francisco to Manila but 14 days from Manila to Tagbilaran?
And why I pay $49.60 (1200 Peso) mailing but have to spend 200 Pesos transportation to claim it at the post office and even there an additional 100 Pesos handling fee? I think mail has to be delivered to the given address.
It looks as there has not much changed since the Martial Law times, except the much higher mailing rates.

Kurt. Dealing with the Philippine postal service is like banging your head against a wall Its a very primative system to say the least. Anyway you are lucky my heart medicines were mailed signed for with a tracking number from the UK 4 weeks ago and they have not arrived in the Post Office at Naga City.Come to the Phlippinrs and you step back 100 years.
