Just wanted to ask a question about a ticket given to my brother in law. He was driving a company car and the car was stopped due to deffective . What I know is, it is the company’s responsibility to pay the ticket and the ticket should’ve been issued against the car not against the driver. But I am not certain if thats the law in the Philippines. My brother in law tried to renew his license and found out that he needed to pay that ticket violation. The ticket violation was issued last July of 2017. The company refused to settle that issue and now he can’t renew his license without paying that ticket. What are the options he has and why was the company vehicle still able to operate with an unsettled violation? I would greatly appreciate it if someone looks into it and provide me some answers or explanation. Thank you in advance.
