    Palagi kasi kayo inuubo at may plema, huwag nyo na po pilitin pumasoj pqg di okay pakiramdam ninyo at baka mapaano po kayo. Halata po kasi sa bises nyo na hirap kayo magsalita at pinipilit nyo na lang.
    Baka po kasi makahawa kayo sa mga kasama nyo po dyan sa dzbb.

    Hi,

    Sa panahon ng pandemic pinapagamit tayo ng face mask / face shield at kung ano ano pa. Naisip ko lang na kailangan talagang maging proactive tayo at tama lamang ang ginagawa ng gobyerno.

    Merong isang bagay na naisip ko na tumutulong sa pagpapakalat ng COVID at ito ay ang ating pananamit. Mahilig magsuot ng tee-shirt tayong mga Filipino. Kung tingnan natin kung papano hinuhubad ito makikita nating lahat ng veerus na nakakapit dito ay dumadaan sa bunganga, ilong at mga mata natin tuwing hinuhubad natin ang tee-shirt.

    Hindi kaya dapat idiscourage ng pamahalaan ang paggamit ng tee-shirt at ipagamit na lamang ang mga damit na nasasara ng zipper ot mga buttons.

    Yan lang po … sana ay makatulong ito sa laban kontra COVID!

    araw araw po ako nakatutok sa inyo
    Mga Sir meron lang po sana ako suggestion sa mga private companies.
    Sana po gawin na lang nilang stay in muna ung mga empleyado nila na kailangan talagang pumasok mas makakatipid pa siguro sila kesa mag provide sila ng Shuttle Service.

    Panay tawag ko sa 02 8373 1705 using my celphone pag may raffle ng affordabox pero di ako maka konek… triny ko tumawag ng walang raffle… di talaga maka konek. Iniisip ko tuloy baka di pwede tumawag pag celphone Gusto ko pa naman sana magkaroon ng affordabox for free.

    — i’m Rey Vinaviles, senior citizen and retired.

    — I hope this simple msg / opinion can be given some thoughts and be able to reach concern people in-charge of this current issue regarding high Meralco billing.

    — Just my one cent opinion as to why Meralco rate /billing is high. It is true that due to lockdown, most people stayed at home . Thus, possibility of more electric consumption.
    — HOWEVER , I don’t think the electric consumption will be HIGH JUST ON ONE MONTH ( that is , MAY).
    ** here’s what Meralco did:
    1),,, they said, they computed the Mar & April consumptions based on the AVERAGE ACTUAL consumption of Dec/Jan/Feb.
    2),,, then , last week of May (after the ECQ ), they did the ACTUAL METER READING.
    3),,, Meralco then deducted the May Actual KWH Reading from the PREVIOUS Actual rdg (of Feb billing ). From there, you will get the TOTAL ACTUAL KWH CONSUMPTION for the 3 months (Mar/Apr/May).
    — by the way, for our case, the actual Meralco meter rdg is every 28th of the month. Different areas may have different cut-offs.

    ** IN FORMULA:
    ** MAY actual rdg – Feb actual rdg = TOTAL KWH used for Mar/Apr/May.

    4),,, then, Meralco deducted the ESTIMATED KWH consumption of Mar & Apr.
    Thus, the DIFFERENCE was then considered as our ACTUAL KWH useage for May.
    ** IN FORMULA:
    ** TOTAL KWH used for Mar/Apr/May – estimated ave KWH for Mar – estimated ave KWH for Apr = KWH consumption for May.

    5),,, this is where the problem (high billing occur) is. Because the May computed KWH is VERY VERY MUCH HIGHER THAN THE ESTIMATED March & April consumption. As we all know, Meralco formula for billing is like a tax table. That is, the higher your salary, the higher your tax contribution. Same as Meralco, the higher your KWH useage, the higher your billing will be ( Pesos/ KWH).

    6),, here is an example to further explain.
    let’ say your ACTUAL 3 months KWH consumption are:
    March = 110 April = 120, May = 125 >> TOTAL = 355 KWH
    but then because of the lockdown, Meralco used 100KWH as the ESTIMATED Mar & Apr consumption.
    Therefore; 355 KWH – 100 KWH (Mar) – 100 (Apr) = 155 KWH for May.

    ** there is a big PESO billing difference between a 120 KWH consumption vs a 155 KWH. What more if your consumption is more than 200 KWH (???).

    — I suggest you try to re-check your Meralco billing (or even sone of your friends billing for Mar/Apr/May and you will notice that May always has the HIGHEST KWH useage.

    ** i think it would be better if Meralco just take the average KWH consumption for Mar/Apr/May based on their May Actual rdg – previous Feb rdg for billing purposes. Example >> 355 KWH / 3 = 118 KWH / Month.

    “” by the way, was it not announce in the News (sometime during the lockdown) that Meralco will not bill one month (March billing to be free) ??? Pls correct me if I am wrong or was it Maynilad???

    Regarding issuance of medical certificate to LSI Locally stranded individuals going home to the province and returning to work…will they undergo another 14 -day monitoring by doctors or pwede na yung self monitoring ng individual at magsabi na no symptoms in the last 14 days (self health declaration) .     – I saw the latest news today wherein Meralco’s explanation why the billings this May is high because it was based on their current actual reading vs their previous rdg before tge lockdown.
    – I think this is wrong and not practical.
    * ** IF Meralco did this way of computation ( that is, ACTUAL RDG in May minus PREVIOUS rdg in March) , definetely the diffence will be high vs the month to month suppose to be consumption.
    — with the higher reading (consumption) , it follows that ALL OTHER PERCENT CHARGES IN THE BILLING FORMULA WILL BE HIGH (check the back page of the billing re the OTHER CHARGES ). THIS IS THE VERY REASON WHY MAY BILLING IS HIGH.
    — WHY will Meralco charge the 2 months (Apr/May ) in lump sum? It is not fair to us consumer if this what Meralco did.

    ** SUGGESTION FOR A FAIR BILLING :
    1,,, get the current actual reading . Then subtract from previous actual rdg.
    2,,, divide the diference by 2 ( meaning 2 months, Apr /May).
    3,,, then compute for the billing per month.

    *** TRY TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 200KW CONSUMPTION. THEN MULTIPLY THE AMOUNT BY 2.
    *** THEN, COMOUTE A 400KW CONSUMPTION.
    **** COMPARE THE 400KW COMPUTED BILLING vs 2 MONTHS OF 200KW EACH.

    I hope my concern and suggestion will be given notice , assessment and discuusion with Meralco.

    Ps, Maynilad should also do the same as suggested.

    Sir or Maam, i have concern regarding my Kasambahay. She didnt qualified for SAP because her Mother got one. Shes a solo parent w/5 children, the youngest is 6 mons old twin. And for now, 2nd trance, Barangay Staff said that they not going to get any because “nagrereklamo daw sila tungkol sa unang SAP”. I already texted DSWD Hotline but no reply, yet & its been 3 week.
    I feel sorry & I would like to help them because I strongly believe that DSWD & Barangay did not treat them fairly.
    Sir/Maam, is there any way you can help her….she & her family did help!!!
