Calling the attention of your engineering department or who ever is in charge of your road works. Yung papasok ng Sta. Rosa exit from calamba e hindi yata pinantay yung kalsada at approaching the turn e parang me hump. kung medyo maliit ang sasakyan mo like ang rim ng gulong mo ay 12 ramdam mo yung impact sa hump nyo dapa wala yun doon kasi yun ngang malalaking sasakyan iniiwasan dun. For the safety of all the motorist passing this route paki pantay yung kalsada.

SLEX / MATES may we request for your action to trim down trees and branches along Sta.Rosa parallel to Nissan Motors. As the tree branches are so high already it might cause accident to road users. Further there’s a sewerage system that are clogged in the area. Many damped and dried leaves are blocking the drainage system. Kindly clean, trim, cut (if necessary) these trees to prevent future flooding and accidents in the road. – J.Co

PhilTouristers Bus 509 Plate#TYU 644, 5:30am April 6, 2016. Between Sta. Rosa and Eton soutbound part. Very reckless driver, swerving from rightmost lane to leftmost lane and back to rightmost lane. Looking for a space to overtake..

When I reached the tollgate, the lady told me that they don’t accept reports about reckless driving and I need to go to the patrol office. What the hell? So you guys don’t give options for your customers to report something that will benefit you?

Pls be informed that we your clients (E pass and RFID holders) are beyond dismayed with the new traffic route you implemented at several toll exits (sucat and bicutan in particular)
We had lost our benefits for easy exits when you barricaded the exit points on these locations
I understand that you wanted to eliminate the problem of some vehicles entering tru the E pass/RFID exit and squeezing their way to the Non Pass holders.
Your solution has negated our advantage for faster exit,,we now spend 20 – 30 mins falling in line together with non pass holders.
You also had narrowed down further the main SLEX to just 2 lanes at these points.
You should had consulted an Industrial Engineer to solve such simple problem.
If you had just installed the plastic barricades all the way to the 2 Normal Exit Booths,, and left the E Pass/RFID toll exit and booth open,,the problem would had been easily solved
Pls provide me your E mail address so I can send you a simple illustration of this simple solution which I guess no one in your organization had thought of.
I will e mail this to you, and send copies to DTI, Top Gear.

I hope you can hire some one bright enough to solve such simple problem,

I am a constant user of the SLEX from Carmona, Cavite and Skyway to NAIA terminal 3 exit then back to Carmona via the same route because I stay in Carmona and work at the airport as an airline executive.

The one-way toll that I pay is Php 204.00 from the Carmona toll gate, I am given a card when I enter the Carmona entry point, then I surrender the entry card before entering the skyway and pay Php 204.00.

On my way back, I enter the skyway from NAIA terminal 3 without a card then pay Php 204.00 toll fee upon exit from the Carmona toll gate. I am reporting an anomaly that I noticed yesterday (12 Jan. 2016) early evening when I exited from the Carmona exit. I was following a car at the toll gate and then upon my turn to pay the toll fee, I gave the teller Php 205.00 and he gave me a receipt that I usually presume indicated the right amount of receipt and the teller also gave me a change of Php 1.00. I then proceeded home and as usual, upon arrival, I filed the receipts for my record to be reimbursed by the Company where I am employed. When I examined the receipt given to me by the toll gate teller, the receipt indicated Php 5.00, which means that the teller pocketed Php 199.00. I suspect that the car that passed the teller before me was not given a receipt or did not get the receipt as is sometimes being done by some motorist and thereby gave a chance by the teller to give me such receipt. The details of the receipt are as follows:

Pls advice your personnel or booth tellers that dont insist/argue to the customer to have the mantaining balance. even its below P500 theres enough amount for the toll fee. Dont argue regard to keep it 500 or above since you have an issue of manual input that will deduct in bundle. Our only error is not to put up multiple digits in our account. We the customer have the rights to spend every cents in our account. Dont act like you own us. Its very simple ” WE USE THE FACILITIES AND WE PAY THE FEES.

  11. Traffic Merville Update says:

Regarding the SLEX northbound section from Nicols toll to EDSA. Most days this section of road is blocked by numerous trucks. Currently the trucks are required to use only the right hand toll booth, but due to the bottleneck of the road, can jam the SLEX back to the C5 exit, and blocking access to the left hand toll booths. Smaller vehicles that are able use the left side toll booths are most often stuck in the merging traffic, and many times the highway patrol have to open the barrier to the southbound lanes for vehicles to u-turn, thereby slowing down the south bound traffic as well. My suggestion to the highway authorities would be to have trucks use only the left side toll booth section. There is a very large portion of road after the left side toll booths that can accommodate a large number of trucks. This would also help trucks to avoid merging with smaller vehicles as they would now be on their intended lane for the further journey down Quirino ave, and would allow smaller vehicles wanting to exit at Sales bridge to do so without having to cut in front of trucks. This should effectively limit the rightmost northbound lane to smaller vehicles and in turn, ease the flow of traffic heading to EDSA.

  13. VR says:

    Greetings……

As a motorist, I noticed that LAY BAYs along the South Luzon Expressway are not in the international standards,,,,, The driver can’t even go down the vehicle because the barriers are placed specifically at the center island in which doors can’t be opened. If the driver goes out the vehicle on the passenger side, he might get a 90% chance of being hit by incoming vehicles… The LAY BAYs are not properly measured to the width of even the compact vehicles. LAY BAYs should occupy the whole center island and not just half the island. LAY BAYs should be placed alternately on both sides of traffic…….

This safety measure should be given utmost priority because not only the motorists are in danger here but also the lives of the traffic enforcers….

Nevertheless, credit should be given to the SLEX traffic enforcers for their dangerous jobs.

    Thanks!!!!
