I would like to know how long does it takes to receive the mail to the destination? It showed that the item was dispatched from HK to Philippines last December 06,2019. But until now I’ve been waiting to receive it by U.S Embassy, Manila. That is very important mail. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

I had been waiting for a small package for over a month now which was sent from the US. It only takes a week process for a package from the US to Manila. When packages arrive Manila is the slowest process ever. How can they be so slow? It’s making us mad to think that PHiLPOST services is getting worse instead of getting better.
If you want to receive parcels or letters from the USA do not use USPS. I began using Planet Express to send parcels and am very satisfied with their service. PhilPost is poorly managed and there is no chance of them improving this century. Use at your own risk.
1 month na po siyang naka enroute to delivery. Antagal naman po kelan ko po kaya makukuha yung parcel ko. Di naman siya kabigat or malaki i wonder bakit po ang tagal lang.
I have been waiting for important business info from the state’s never received them. Is there a guaranteed way to get mail here from the states? I had a finanicial institution send a letter here got it but not the bank card, had to cancel and send one by FedEx.

Hi Michael,
I learned not to use USPS for parcels or letters due to the fact that once here in the Philippines the item is passed on to PhilPost after clearing customs. I now use Planet Express in Gardena, CA. At this time I have a parcel that was shipped Monday and has cleared customs in HK. The courier is DHL.
The problem with PhilPost is they are overwhelmed and the system is not modern and poorly managed. Recently they stopped using an airline to ship parcels from Manila to Mindanao. Now ships or trucks are used causing deliveries to the local post office to be less frequent. My rule now is to not use USPS/PhilPost. I hope this helps. Good luck
The problem is that in the Philippines nothing works and nobody cares about anything unless you pay them more money. Everything is poor quality including the services. The Philippino people do the absolute minimum to earn a peso. They really have a couldn’t care less attitude.

I’d like to follow up on my parcel from Korea with a Tracking Number of ES264520295KR. May I know the status of my package? I went to Bacolod Post Office the package has not yet arrived according to the officers it is still in Manila Post Office since July 29, 2019. I check on the tracking website and It is requesting for some documents but I haven’t got any notice from your office.

Your contact numbers are useless. Nobody is answering the phone. If the numbers are not existing anymore, pls be proactive to update them.
WARNING: Do not use US Postal Services to send to the Philippines. Once the parcel or document arrives here it passes through customs for inspection and assessment of any tax/fee then sent to PhilPost. That is when your troubles begin. All phone numbers given will take you to voicemail. If you leave a message do not expect a response. The same is true with emails.
PhilPost will give false or misleading info on their tracking site. Take any info given there with a grain of salt. You are relying on a system that is broken beyond repair. The workers here on Mindanao are not able to get any response from Manila Central or wherever they seek info of incoming mail from Manila. There has been only one or two deliveries of mail here in the past month.
I have taken steps to use a third party service that bypasses PhilPost. It is much SAFER than using USPS/PhilPost. Also cheaper. The company I signed up with is Planet Express.
You have been warned. Seek alternatives and be happy.

Next time use Planet Express or similar service. They are cheaper and faster with DHL and FedEx being options to use. Do not use USPS. I do hope you got your parcels.
