   On August 17, 2014 my wife and I saw several identical signages for Super Bowl hanging at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong. A sign says “Buy One Take One”. When we went to the establishment to order, we were told that the promo is applicable only on weekdays. We went to a competitor restaurant and again saw the sign hanging . . . in front of the competitor restaurant at that! Upon scrutiny of the sign, there was no indication as to its applicability only on weekdays, and not even the customary “Per DTI” so and so.

   We went back to the Superbowl and told them about the content of the signs, but we were still unable to order as the staff cannot decide.

   Going home and looking at the Internet, I saw another version of the sign with the “Per DTI” thing (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Super-Bowl-of-China/27769334874) , but the only weekdays availability provision is on the side comment, not part of the sign.

   The sign could have confused consumers, as we were. Hidden truth in advertising?
